What inspired you to become a dentist?
Being a second generation dentist, I was inspired to become a dentist after shadowing my father throughout high school and college and seeing the life-changing impact he made on his patients.
What was your most rewarding experience at UT Health San Antonio?
My most rewarding experience at UT Health San Antonio was being a part of the Japanese Student Exchange Program.
Getting to develop friendships internationally and sharing cultures centered around dentistry is truly unique.
What is your greatest professional achievement?
My greatest professional achievement was being nominated for the 2024 Texas New Dentist of the Year award for the Texas Academy of General Dentistry.
What is your current occupation and where?
I am currently an associate dentist at All Smiles Dental Center in San Antonio, Texas.
What advice do you have for current students?
My advice for current students is to be open to as many learning opportunities as possible and not be afraid to learn new procedures.
Dentistry is an ever evolving profession and you must learn to adapt to it.
